The Color Harmony of the Rocks will be exhibited in our Museum soon

Colorful stones of very different origin were collected by the nature-loving, rock collector Mr. Akın Altıparmak for a decade in the Black Sea Region, Kastamonu province, in İnebolu beaches (within a 3.5 km area). The stones, which contain beautiful colors, which were carefully collected, were presented to our museum by Mr. Altıparmak. Our museum will present this exquisite collection full of labor to its visitors. Thank you very much, Mr. Altıparmak.

Conference activity in our museum

We hosted Prof. Dr. Yücel Yılmaz.

The conference titled “Deep Traces of Anatolia in the Origin of Western Civilization (History-Mythology-Geology)” within the scope of the conference event of our museum, Dr. It was given by Yücel Yılmaz on 14.10.2019. The conference was held in Turgut Özal Conference Hall, Faculty of Engineering. Vice Rector to the event. Professor Dr. Yücel Yılmaz emphasized that he was very happy to be at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University in his presentation and emphasized that Natural History Museums have important places especially in developed countries. Professor Dr. Yılmaz explained the contributions of Anatolia, the geography where civilizations leap, to the development of civilization in cooperation with Geology, Mythology and History.
